Lake Kabetogama is the gateway to Voyageurs National Park with access to Ash River, Namakan, Sand Point, Crane
and Rainy Lakes.
Kabetogama lake itself is dotted with over 200 remote, scenic islands that maintain their beauty
through harsh winter storms and produce rich foliage and wild berries in the summer.

About 150 people call Kabetogama their year around home.  Summer residents add about 150 more! Rush hour is when
deer cross the road or you have to wait a few minutes at the boat ramp!

The communities of Lake Kabetogama and nearby Ash River offer a range of facilities including dining, resorts, houseboat
rentals, campgrounds, convenience stores, fishing guides, outfitters and marinas. It is a bird and wildlife watching haven
with breathtaking scenery in all of the seasons but still close enough to golfing (10 courses within a 90 mile radius),
shopping and support services that we all enjoy and need in today’s world.  International Falls is 30 miles to the north
on U.S. Highway 53 as is Fort Francis, Ontario, Canada.  Duluth, MN is 150 south.

This is a four-season recreation area. The miles and miles of lakes and waterways offer world-class fishing from
May-October then freeze over to welcome some of the best ice fishing around!  Snowmobiling is a popular winter
pastime with access to many miles of trails in both Minnesota and Ontario. Cross-country skiers and snowshoe
enthusiasts may enjoy the solitude of the back country and wilderness areas.
